New Amazon Associates Online Stores - Buy Books and other items online

Amazon now allow webmasters to create their own online stores branded into their own web sites. It's called aStores. The scheme is currently in beta, but I've added it to two of my web sites. Hopefully this will help raise money to cover the costs of the hosting and future development of the sites.

The Online Shops are at:

which is powered by amazon.co.uk, advertising First Aid and Health related books.

which is powered by amazon.com, advertising Linux and LPI related books.

Obviously there is nothing stopping you buying First Aid related books from the PenguinTutor shop (US site), or buying Linux related books from the FirstAidQuiz shop (UK site), but the choice of recommended books is based on the target audience for the site. The First Aid Quiz site is based on the UK protocols and for the PenguinTutor site US visitors outnumber the other countries, so it seamed logical to team up with Amazon.com for that site.

I'm not expecting these to start making large amounts of money, but if they at least cover the cost of a few books, they can offset some of the money I currently spend, and I can have more books to write reviews on.
